He is a native of the Welsh Marches who made Shropshire his home in the 1980s. Here he has developed a passion for the Shropshire hills and an interest in anything that has contributed to their varied and fascinating landscapes. This has led him to study the geology, history and natural history, as well as the legend and folklore which add to the charm of the Shropshire Hills.
